Many clubs are still worryingly undecided about fixing an energy deal with their supplier.

As we enter the Autumn and winter of 20222/23 this may be a risky strategy. Why? Because the UK has entered uncharted waters when it comes to energy costs.

For example, those clubs that fixed their energy costs in February 2022 are feeling a bit more relaxed than those who have not yet made up their minds. Energy costs have made quantum leaps (upwards) since the start of 2022 and there is no end in sight for this upward trajectory.
